WHAT DOES SUPERHUMXN DO?

Superhumxn is a behavioural consultancy and media brand that explores how people, tech, and systems shape the way we work.

We're building a library of valuable ideas, tools, and stories for curious thinkers. If you've got a fresh perspective, a clear way of explaining complex topics, or an idea that gets people thinking, we want to hear from you.

OUR CONTENT

WHAT WE WRITE ABOUT

Pillars

Most of our content falls within these pillars:

The Future of Work

We cover how work is changing and how people and teams are staying on top of these changes.

These could be stories about how companies are utilising AI, how teams collaborate in fast-paced environments, or how culture evolves when everything accelerates.

We're looking for real-life examples, insightful perspectives, and practical advice on how work is evolving and what's helping people adapt.

Technology

Technology touches every part of how we work, from the phones in our pockets to the platforms we use to collaborate, communicate, and get things done.

We're interested in stories that explore how these tools are changing the way we think, create, and connect at work.

We want fresh takes that look under the surface and reveal how tech is really shaping modern work and the systems that underpin it.

Science

Science helps us understand how the world works and how we work within it.

At Superhumxn, we're especially curious about behavioural science, psychology, and neuroscience. Anything that helps explain how people think, learn, and make decisions.

We're also open to other areas of science as long as they relate to how work is changing and how people can adapt to these changes. If it connects to the future of work, we want to hear about it.

Work Culture

We look at how company culture is changing as more teams adopt AI to work faster and smarter.

When businesses shift how they work, it affects how people feel, how they make decisions, and how they connect. We're interested in what this looks like in practice. These are things like trust, burnout, values, and how people stay human in fast-paced environments.

Culture is what people do every day. We share real stories about teams that are shaping their culture and the wider world in meaningful ways.

WRITE FOR US

What We Look For

Novelty

We want ideas that feel new. A surprising insight, an unexpected outcome, or a shift others haven't noticed yet. If it makes someone say, "I've never thought about it like that", it's probably a fit. We're especially interested in takes that come from hands-on experience or being close to the action.

Crossovers

We love stories that bring together different fields. It could be how work connects with health, politics, creativity, or climate. If your story brings together two (or more) areas in an interesting way, we want to hear it.

Depth

Our readers want ideas that challenge them, not surface-level summaries. That doesn't mean it has to be lengthy; it just needs to be thoughtful and well-put-together. We like writing that's clear and practical and makes people think differently.

Balanced

We like opinions or takes as long as you provide correct sources. That means avoiding hype, bias, or exaggerated claims without evidence. If something's still unfolding or uncertain, say so. This honesty builds trust.

Our Writing Style

We keep things clear and easy to follow. Our tone is conversational. Smart but not stiff, with a bit of personality or humour.

What We Don’t Publish

Takes on the news

We want deeper stories that stay relevant beyond the news cycle.

Misinformation

Everything we publish needs to be accurate, well-sourced, and thoroughly checked.

Recycled content

We only accept original work. That means no reposts, rewrites, or anything published elsewhere.

AI-generated stories

We get that AI is useful for brainstorming or editing, but we don’t publish articles written entirely by AI tools. We want your ideas, your words, your voice.

Off-brand writing

If the style, tone, or format doesn’t fit our standards, we won’t move forward. It’s nothing personal. We want to maintain consistency for our readers.

Formats

We publish the following types of writing:

Short essays

Quick, focused pieces that explore a single idea or spark a shift in thinking, usually under 1,500 words.

Long essays

Deep dives that unpack a complex topic, challenge assumptions, or offer a fresh lens on something familiar. Usually 1,500 to 5,000 words.

Frameworks

Practical models, mental maps, or repeatable approaches that help people make sense of something complicated.

Case studies

Real-world stories that show how teams, companies, or individuals tackled a challenge, built something meaningful, or tried something new, with clear lessons others can apply.

Interviews

Conversations with builders, thinkers, or leaders who are doing interesting work, especially when their perspectives challenge the norm or illuminate the future of work, tech, or culture.

Explainers

Breakdowns of trends, tools, or systems.

Video scripts

Spoken narratives for explainers, keynotes, or animated content.

How We Work

Once we accept your pitch, you’ll work closely with one of our editors to shape the final piece. It’s a collaborative process.

We pay fairly based on the length, detail, and complexity of the work. You'll always know what to expect upfront.

All writers and creatives are credited clearly and paid on time. You're free to share the work in your portfolio after publication.

We may also share your piece with our wider community, including our social channels, newsletter, and other Superhumxn platforms.

Rates & Expenses

If we like your pitch and decide to move forward, we'll discuss everything with you upfront. This includes what you'll be paid, the deadline, our expectations, and what happens if the piece doesn't proceed.

Once we're aligned, we'll send you a clear agreement.

Publishing Terms

We believe in honest, respectful collaboration, and we expect the same from everyone we work with. If something isn't working or you're stuck, just let us know. We want to make the process smooth and fair.

Before anything is published, you'll have the opportunity to review and approve the final version. Your name and any contributors will be credited clearly.

Once your piece is live, we'll pay you on time and reimburse any agreed costs.

Advertise Or Market With Superhumxn

We sometimes partner with brands to sponsor our newsletter or articles. These are companies we believe in, and we only feature those that align with our audience and mission.

If you're interested in sponsoring content or collaborating with us, get in touch. You can also request our media kit for more details about reach, audience, and pricing.

We accept sponsorship partnerships for our articles and newsletter.

Affiliates

Occasionally, we recommend tools, platforms, or services that we use. When that happens, we may include affiliate links, meaning we earn a small commission if you buy something through that link.

We'll always be clear when that's the case. If a link is affiliate-based, it's because we've tried the product and believe it's worth sharing with you. We don't promote anything we wouldn't genuinely recommend.

Ghostwriting Services

We sometimes write on behalf of other companies or publications. This work is separate from what we publish on Superhumxn. It doesn't influence our editorial content or point of view.

Artificial Intelligence

We don't sell AI-generated content. Everything we write for our clients is by humans.

We may use AI tools to support parts of the process (like research or grammar checks), but people do the thinking, writing, and editing.
